Getting to 48Gbps in the past required a number of different little black boxes to amplify the performance bandwidth. Now, the active cable technology removes the distance roadblock by rebuilding the high-speed data to a display readable quality -without any additional electronics. The result is a slim, easy to maneuver cable suitable for tight spaces and rack installations with incredible data transfer speeds to achieve 4K/HDR or even 8K, depending on its length.
