DirectConnect® DirectConnect® was born in 1996 from a request for a patch cable without a strain relief. Years ago all interconnects were molded plastic with a large molded strain relief at each end. After exhausting all of our domestic suppliers, DirectConnect® created a new line of custom products designed by the installer and manufactured to their specifications.
